Tae-Ho and Ji-Ho, siblings who suddenly lost both their parents when their father murdered their mother. Faced with an overwhelming reality, Tae-Ho decides to become a master of home-cooked meals for his younger brother, Ji-Ho. Social worker Kyu-Jin, known for being a picky eater, hears about their situation and decides he cannot simply leave them to fend for themselves. He visits their home to try to connect them with a shelter, only to find himself completely helpless against Tae-Ho’s home-cooked meal offensive. Ji-Ho, who finds strength just by thinking about food no matter how hard things get, and Tae-Ho, who hones his cooking skills for Ji-Ho’s sake— Kyu-Jin finds that Tae-Ho’s food suits his taste exceptionally well. Before they knew it, the three of them began to resemble a “family,” for whom eating together no longer felt awkward. And they even made new friends through “Seum,” a child welfare organization established for the children of inmates. Mealtimes, which Tae-Ho and Ji-Ho used to spend alone, or sometimes in lonely solitude, have now become the most joyful part of their day. (Source: KakaoPage, translated)
