Big Comic 45th anniversary commemorative project First published in 1968, Big Comic celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2013. To commemorate this milestone, we have compiled a collection of carefully selected short stories—chosen from the adult-oriented works created in the late 1960s and early 1970s—by eight of the magazine’s “big-name” authors who contributed to its inaugural issues. In January 2013, two volumes—Osamu Tezuka and Shigeru Mizuki—were published simultaneously. The series will continue with one volume per month, featuring Fujiko F.
